
Gutermann today announced that Uri Gutermann has assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer of the Gutermann Group effective 1st January 2020. Uri is part of the family company‘s third generation. He joined Gutermann in 2011 as the group’s CFO, head of business development and company chairman. Uri holds a Master’s degree in business from the University of St. Gallen and an MBA from INSEAD. Prior to joining Gutermann he worked in different roles in strategic management consulting and investment banking.
Uri succeeds in this role Lucas Grolimund who joined Gutermann in 2009 and oversaw the company’s steady growth both on the engineering side and in terms of global presence. Lucas has now stepped down from his duties at Gutermann to pursue other interests.
